My WonderMom

Nervousness crept through me. Music, combined with the shouts of the crowd, echoed in my ears. As I exited the backstage, the spotlight hit me. After being blinded for a second, it was her that I first saw. She was applauding heartily and smiling widely. In her eyes I can see how proud she was of me. I was comforted. I regained confidence and said to myself, "I'll do this for her. This is for my mom."

She carried me in her womb for 9 months. She labored for hours in order for me to see this world. She suffered sleepless nights to comfort me when I wailed. She was the first to teach me the alphabet, numbers and shapes. She fetched me to and from school everyday. She taught me the value of education, spirituality, humility and honesty. She always tells me that I should study hard for me to have the best profession and career in the future. She never fails to attend to all my needs. She supported me in all my activities. She has the ability to smile and laugh though she is experiencing the hardest problem in life.

SHE'S THE BEST WOMAN FOR ME. MY WONDERMOM. =*
